Keep materials for the next useful craft
Read recipes without confusing sale value, crafting cost and upgrade requirements.

1Choose the next craft
Our advice: select one useful replacement or upgrade before sorting your stash. Open its details and inspect both the ingredients and the station requirement. A recipe alone does not mean your current workshop can make the item.

2Separate costs from sale values
Sale value is an item valuation, not its purchase price or the cost of crafting it. Upgrade recipes include the previous-tier weapon. Our advice: count what you already have before deciding whether a displayed upgrade is affordable.

3Check quest needs first
The journal searches objectives and rewards, while required materials appear in quest details. Our advice: check these before selling components. A material that seems spare for your current build may be needed for the next task you intend to accept.

4Read blueprint requirements
Some recorded recipes specify a blueprint as well as a station level. Our advice: verify both in-game before spending time gathering a large batch of materials. This reference does not track which blueprints you have learned.

5Save a replacement plan
Use the loadout library to keep a kit you can rebuild. Our advice: make the replacement kit simple enough that losing it does not halt your next run. Material quantities and recipes are dated records, so check the current crafting station before committing valuable components.
