Know the announced window
The developer announced a closed beta beginning 19 October 2026 at 10:00 BST (09:00 UTC). Its proposed end is 26 October at 09:00 GMT (09:00 UTC), explicitly subject to confirmation. This is a test window, not an Early Access release date.
Check your existing access
Previous Tech Test participants retain access. Additional participants will be selected from Steam playtest requests. If HUNGER Playtest is already in your library, the announcement says you do not need to request access again. A request does not guarantee selection.
Separate plans from availability
Open Beta follows later; dates are due after the closed test. The Steam store still lists the game as Coming soon. These details were reviewed on 6 October 2026 against Missive XIV and the developer’s store description.
