Ensure the main ingredients of the foods is meat, fish, or chicken. It’s because the cats are carnivore that needs high protein diet and low carbohydrate. Choose the foods with high protein and lowest grain if possible.

Besides paying attention on protein element in the foods for your cat, you should also look at the content of certain amino acids such as taurine and aginine also fatty acid content like arachidonic and linoleic. It’s also necessary to notice the content of composition of vitamin A’s former which usually written as retinyl palmitate or asetat.

3. Adjust with Your Cat’s Necessity

Choose the foods based on your cat’s necessity. It’s easy as todays the cat’s food producer has provided the cat’s foods based on the cat’s ages.  If your cat is still a kitten, choose the foods that has at least 30% of total protein. The kittens need more protein supply than adult cat for their growth.

4. Check Your Cat’s Health

After doing several tips above, you also need to check your cat’s health to ensure you’ve chosen the best food for her. Basically, if the food is bad for your cat, she will show clear signs like diarrhea or hair loss. Also ensure your cat’s weight is ideal, not too thin nor fat.
