From beta balance to Season 1.
Steam’s “Pre-Load Live & Season 1 Changelog” records the launch changes from the preceding beta. Progression was rebalanced for longer play, with a slower middle stretch and a flatter curve at higher levels. These tables describe that historical transition, not a promise that every value remains current.
The developers said seasonal XP curves and item ordering could change again. Use the current catalogues to plan a kit and this page to understand what changed.
Progression & XP bands.
Levels below 6 were unchanged. The published role-track checkpoints are listed below; intermediate levels were not specified. The developer’s stated target put median players at around level 20 after 20–25 hours.
- Air-vehicle player kills: 300 → 250 XP.
- Selling supply-crate items worth under $75: 25 → 1 XP.

Vendor purchases & supply economy.
Supply-crate purchase scaling changed from a 25–250 range to 1–200. The developer linked the change to low-value item pricing and abuse prevention. Vendor purchase prices and progression unlock fees are different costs.

Gameplay & vehicle handling.
- Z20 Lakota received a balance pass and a fix to slow pitch response; its chase-camera rattle was reduced by 6 dB.
- Helicopter input damping was extended to every input device.
- Vehicle turret operators gained a maximum rotation speed, and a DPI-related tank-aiming issue was fixed.
- 155 mm, 122 mm and flare deployables require more inventory room.
- An unintended church-roof position was closed.
Reporting, voice & server browsing.
- Report tracking was added, with reduced weighting for repeated and bad-faith reports. Cheater bans can be announced when match termination is disabled.
- The kicked-from-server notice was corrected to appear for actual bans.
- Server filtering, community-server image scaling and the hosting-page shortcut were updated.
- Voice-channel recovery after failed joins, push-to-talk targeting, re-login and reliability under load were improved, with a visible communications status.
Performance & stability.
- DLSS Frame Generation can be disabled without restarting; render-target pool configuration was added.
- Reduced shadow-cache refreshes aim to lessen hitching when taking control of a character. Low shadow quality replaces fully disabled shadows in the documented benchmark case.
- Frame-generation crash paths and crashes involving off-thread network calls, chat tooltips, buildables and weapons whose owners left were addressed.
- GPU crash reports gained detail, a legacy graphics dependency was removed, dropped items stopped affecting navigation and startup gained clearer recovery messages.
