Read range, duration and interruption conditions in your current ability screen. Choose a kit whose conditions fit your intended solo or party role.
Try the kit before investing
Take an affordable expedition and note which abilities you actually use. Use that experience to choose a Mastery direction rather than assuming a profile is a tested build.
