Give your character a clear job

Ranger

Choose your class

Ranger

Pick a class you enjoy, then work towards one matching Ascendancy. Your class fixes the passive-tree starting point; it does not mean every available skill belongs in your build.

Lightning Arrow

Choose a main skill

Lightning Arrow

Use one main attack or spell while learning. For a bow example, inspect and : one can clear packs while the other provides a separate setup for tougher targets. Read their weapon requirements first.

Keep the working version

Save the setup that works now. Keep future upgrades in another stage. Browser drafts stay on this device; do not clear browser storage while you need them.

When an area becomes difficult

  1. 01

    Name the problem

Are repeated hits killing you, are you running out of Mana, or does the main skill struggle against one enemy? WDguide advice: fix that specific failure before adding another damage skill.

  2. 02

    Inspect the current setup

Check available resources, the active weapon set and requirement warnings. A gem level increase can change cost or requirements. A replacement item can remove attributes needed elsewhere.

  3. 03

    Make one useful change

WDguide advice: repair a resistance or attribute gap, improve the relevant weapon, or change one support. Compare the result before replacing several pieces at once.

  4. 04

Test, then save the next stage

Try the setup in the content you are actually playing. Save the successful change with a short note explaining what made it useful.

Build a small upgrade path

Campaign

Record usable gear, the main skill and the next defensive gap. Include permanent campaign reward choices actually earned at this stage.

Early endgame

Keep the campaign setup as a reference. Check the current resistance penalty and resource reservations before adding expensive equipment.

Developed

State the later setup’s requirements. An ideal rare item should not be described as a cheap starter upgrade.

Check the plan

Not sure where to go?

Follow the campaign walkthrough for story checkpoints and permanent rewards. Use your active quest to find the next required objective.

Your gear is falling behind?

Use crafting basics to plan one affordable replacement. Check requirements before spending currency.

Your skill stopped working?

Work through skills and supports: weapon, attributes, compatible supports, then available resources.
