Skill Leveling Guide
Choose a skill for recommended leveling methods, equipment advice and practical steps drawn from community experience.
Choose your skill track
Pick one useful job for the next session. Each card leads to a practical routine; these are community suggestions, not ranked XP-per-hour methods.
Assault
Assault rifle combat
Assault leveling largely comes from combat with Assault-track weapons. Player reports favour sustained fighting around objectives and enemy FOBs; there is no well-supported shortcut.
Medic
Healing and reviving teammates
Carry extra bandages and revive supplies, then stay near a squad taking contact. Players consistently recommend treating injuries as well as reviving; an SMG adds a combat option.
Recon
Spotting active targets
Spotting is the most consistent Recon recommendation in the discussions reviewed. Several players report leveling primarily with observation equipment, without relying on sniper kills.
Support
FOB construction and supply runs
Building at a friendly FOB and keeping it supplied is the recurring Support recommendation. Players also report Driver or Pilot progress from the transport portion of the job.
Driver
Truck deliveries to friendly FOBs
Once a logistics truck is unlocked, players recommend regular supply runs. Cargo provides a steady job without depending on passengers choosing ground transport.
Pilot
Passenger transport and supply flights
Regular transport and supply flights are the recurring Pilot recommendations. The reports do not establish which is faster across different maps and aircraft.
Career
Progress across several tracks
Players pursuing overall Wardog levels recommend developing lower-level roles. For a particular weapon unlock, focusing on its required track may still make more sense.

Cash earned is not skill XP
Assault · One rifle, one squad, one active approach
Assault rifle combat
- 01
Prepare your kit
Use an unlocked Assault-track rifle, compatible spare magazines and medical supplies. Keep enough cash to replace the complete kit. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
Join the infantry push nearest a usable friendly spawn. Choose cover that lets you engage the same approach as your squad instead of crossing the objective alone.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
Fight with the squad, reload behind cover and move when the push moves. Restock before another engagement rather than returning with a nearly empty kit.
- 04
Know when to change
If most of the session is spent walking back, choose a closer supported fight. If the target skill is not advancing, check the weapon’s track before buying upgrades.
Assault · avoid wasted effort
Medic · Follow one infantry squad through a push
Healing and reviving teammates
- 01
Prepare your kit
Bring bandages and your available revive tool. Leave carrying space for medical supplies before adding optional weapon attachments. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
Stay one piece of cover behind the players taking contact. Treat injured teammates during pauses; check the firing lane before approaching anyone downed.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
After a covered revive, check for remaining injuries and your own supply count. Replenish at the next safe opportunity and follow the same squad into its next fight.
- 04
Know when to change
If casualties cannot be reached safely, ask for cover or reposition with the survivors. Repeatedly dying on the same exposed casualty stops both treatment and progress.
Medic · avoid wasted effort
Recon · Watch the approach your squad is contesting
Spotting active targets
- 01
Prepare your kit
Bring binoculars or another unlocked spotting tool, a defensive weapon and medical supplies. A sniper rifle is optional for this routine. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
Choose cover overlooking an enemy approach to the active fight. Identify a second observation position and a covered route between them.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
Scan the approach, mark visible targets and give short location calls. Check flanks between scans rather than watching only the centre of the objective.
- 04
Know when to change
Move when the squad can no longer act on your sightings, the approach becomes quiet or your position draws fire. Changing the view is often more useful than buying another optic.
Recon · avoid wasted effort
Support · Finish a requested section of a friendly FOB
FOB construction and supply runs
- 01
Prepare your kit
Bring a hammer suitable for the planned structures. Ask the crew what resources are already available before buying or arranging a delivery. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
Agree on one useful job, such as completing the entrance defences. Check that it leaves the delivery lane open and that the crew has enough Build Supplies.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
Complete the agreed structures, check remaining stock and ask for the next priority. Coordinate a delivery when resources are the bottleneck.
- 04
Know when to change
When the base is complete, move to another requested job. Do not keep placing unnecessary pieces just to repeat the construction action.
Support · avoid wasted effort
Driver · Supply one active FOB on a repeatable route
Truck deliveries to friendly FOBs
- 01
Prepare your kit
Use a vehicle that can carry the requested load. Arrange a pickup point and unloading point with the receiving crew before departing. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
Mark the outward route and an alternative approach. Take the requested cargo, deliver it and confirm receipt with the FOB crew.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
Ask what the next load should contain before returning. Track the entire round trip, including loading, waiting and unloading.
- 04
Know when to change
After an ambush, report the location and change the route. If the base has no demand, find another receiver rather than delivering unwanted cargo.
Driver · avoid wasted effort
Pilot · Run an agreed pickup and landing route
Passenger transport and supply flights
- 01
Prepare your kit
Choose an aircraft suited to the passengers or cargo and one you can land consistently. Confirm the destination before takeoff. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
Agree on a landing area and a backup with teammates on the ground. Plan an exit direction before committing to the approach.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
Complete the drop, confirm passengers or supplies are delivered, then leave for the next arranged pickup. Check demand before another empty flight.
- 04
Know when to change
Abort a contested landing when ground support cannot secure it. Switch destinations or wait for a useful job rather than circling over the fight.
Pilot · avoid wasted effort
Career · Choose one unlock to work towards
Progress across several tracks
- 01
Prepare your kit
Check whether the item needs Career progress or a named role. Reserve money for the unlock fee and the item itself. Equipment & requirements →
- 02
Start with a useful job
For a role-specific unlock, use that role’s routine. For broader progress, pick an underdeveloped track with an actual job available in the match.
- 03
Repeat while it helps
Add a compatible task when it is useful: spot between infantry engagements or help build after a delivery. Check the separate skill bars after the session.
- 04
Know when to change
Stay focused when a specific unlock is close. Switch when the current match offers no useful work, rather than chasing whichever bar looked fastest in another player’s clip.
