ASSAULT / LEVELING PLAN

Assault rifle combat

Assault leveling largely comes from combat with Assault-track weapons. Player reports favour sustained fighting around objectives and enemy FOBs; there is no well-supported shortcut.

AT A GLANCE

  1. 01

Equip an Assault rifle with compatible magazines and ammunition.

  2. 02

Join a squad fighting near the Hot Zone or an enemy FOB.

  3. 03

Stay with the push and restock between engagements.

WDGUIDE / PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Choose a kit you can replace

Set aside money for another deployment before upgrading your rifle or attachments. An expensive kit is little help if losing it ends your session.

In the field

  1. Choose a position near your squad’s route back into the fight. Long walks after every death reduce time spent earning combat XP.

  2. Fight from cover with teammates nearby. Reload and treat injuries before advancing.

  3. Follow the frontline when it moves. Leave an empty firing position rather than waiting for the fight to return.

Common mistakes to avoid
  • Using another track’s primary while expecting Assault progress.
  • Judging a match by cash earned rather than Assault XP.

Assess your progress

After a match, check Assault progress and how much time you spent travelling or replacing gear. Reduce that downtime before spending more on the kit.

COMMUNITY FINDINGS

Several discussions describe Assault as slower to level than utility-based roles. Rifle combat is the consistent recommendation.
